Wheels turning

The next step was to make the front 2 wheels able to turn. To do this i started by selecting the group i had created for one of the wheels to spin and again clicked ctrl+g to create another group on the outside of this and made sure the pivot point was in the centre again. I then created a double headed arrow and deformed it so that it would curve around the front of the car slightly. I then selected both the controller arrow and the wheel and applied another orient constraint, this time in the y axis. lastly i made sure all other movements were limited appropriately and repeated the process for the opposite wheel but using the same arrow as the controller.wheels turn constraints

wheels

The first thing we had to do in this project was to make all of the wheels spin. To do this i selected the group for the wheel i wanted to make spin and clicked ctrl+g to group them and made sure that the pivot point was in the center of the wheel. I then created an arrow out of a CV curve and deformed it to be bent. I then clicked the arrow and ctrl clicked the group and clicked on constrain > orient and ticked the x axis. This meant that the wheel would spin on the x axis when i span the arrow.first wheel
